I'm relatively new to the production game. I've only been doing this for four years. So, I'm still experimenting with several different music programs that would make my tracks sound awesome and more professionally done. I like the Sonar series. Those programs are quite simple to use and the help menu is very detailed and helpful. It has a solution to every problem you may encounter.
ReplyDeleteI have also been checking out Pro Tools. That program is the standard in the music industry. You will eventually have to use Pro Tools at one time or another if (or when) you start producing professionally. The only problem with Pro Tools is that it is quite an expensive program to put on your CPU and it requires exclusive hardware.
I'm sticking with Sonar for now. I also enjoy using production software that you can download right off the Internet. The software is affordable and very user-friendly. It's perfect if you are a novice. These links are helpful.
